Cylinder Block

Cylinder block is one of the core components of the engine, usually made of cast iron or aluminum alloy. It carries all the main components of the engine, such as cylinders, pistons, crankshafts, etc. The cylinder block not only provides structural support for the combustion chamber in the cylinder, but also is responsible for the flow of coolant and lubricating oil. Its design directly affects the strength, durability and thermal management performance of the engine. Usually, the cylinder block is manufactured by casting process and is precision machined to ensure the accuracy and surface quality of the cylinder.
