Cylinder Head

The cylinder head is an important part of the engine. It is located on the top of the cylinder block and closes the combustion chamber of the cylinder. The cylinder head is equipped with valves, spark plugs (or injectors) and intake and exhaust channels, which are responsible for controlling the intake, exhaust and ignition of gas. The cylinder head is fixed to the cylinder block by bolts and requires high sealing to prevent leakage of gas and coolant. It is usually made of aluminum alloy or cast iron, with good thermal conductivity, which helps to dissipate heat from the engine. The design and manufacturing accuracy of the cylinder head have a significant impact on engine performance and fuel efficiency.
